Appearance: amber orange color, semi-turbid. Not head.
Aroma: too much acid (common in the “calle-calle” beers) like lactic, out style. Malty and wheat touch, citric fruits reminiscences.
Flavor: disappointment excessive sourness and infection problems; this hidden others essences.
Palate: light body and watery texture.
Too much problems in this beer, not advisable like all “calle-calle” beers. Panzerfaust (849) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - JUL 4, 2007
Bottled at Backstage, Patio Bellavista Pours a hazy orange/amber color. The head is small, white and diminishes pretty fast. It leaves a thin film.
Aroma is weak, malty with some notes of peaches, oranges, apricots, mellon and passionfruit. However it’s barely noticeable among an unclean yeasty smell.
Flavor is semi-sweet with citrusy notes, but a clear infection is there, destroying what could be an interesting taste. Very watery too.
Light body, watery and trying to be refreshing. Medium carbonation. Finish is boring, dull. A regular infected Ale. The worst from Calle-Calle in my book. almosi (282) - Viña del Mar, CHILE - FEB 21, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 14, 2007 (in bottle, buy in the brewery).
It has a color amber with golden sparkles, the color is cloudy. Very little head and very short duration. The honey, as fast arrives as it goes away. High carbonization. Something of acid fruits and vinegar. A end with little acidity. A regular beer with honey, perhaps best of the beers of “CalleCalle”
