Clear amber with small white head. Aroma is rye, medium sweet. Taste is mild up front, turns nicely rye at mid body until finish; medium sweet. Nice bitterness finish. Light/medium body.

hmm, definately nothing special here. didn't detect much other than a traditional lager feel, nothing of the Rye sort. pretty basic and drinkable

Same of the buttery/nutty diacetyl trademark...lighter than the Oktoberfest, not a lot of distinguishable rye flavor.

Medium-light body, very clean and refreshing. Smooth and dry with a surprisingly strong rye flavor.

Hardly any carbonation at all, thin tight head. Rye in color, light brown/tan. Rye all over the nose, mildly sweet and toasty in nose and on tongue. Lots of rye. Super creamy mouthfeel in relation to the way it appears. As all of the Rowlands brews, there is the nice caramel presence, pleasantly sweet, full bodied original beer.
