On tap at the brewpub. Deep golden colour, stable head. Quite floral hop nose, good bitterness. Above average.

Draught at the brewpub. Amber coloured. Malty aroma. Sweet malty flavour. Rather high carbonation level.

Geiserich (4522) - Linz, AUSTRIA - FEB 17, 2004
Sampled draught at the brewpub
Gold brown, head without lace. Hoppy (flowerly) aroma. Taste is fruity, light malty with an light bitter aftertaste. Some notes of herbs.

From the brew pub in Stuttgart. Have they changed the Braumeisterbier recently, as others state a dark brown pour? Pours like a Hefe weizen and a lemony taste. A very refreshing beer, most enjoyable. More a Helles beer.

pivo (2685) - GERMANY - NOV 11, 2007
Cloudy unfiltered orange color with a foamy head. Big sweet middle, caramelly and nutty with some roasted grains. Then a fairly broad but dull hopping to dry the palate. Well-balanced and a solid beer.

rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUN 17, 2007
Quite cloudy orange, pillow off-white head. Nose is crispy noble hops - some bright not-quite-lemon notes, brown sugar & slight caramel. Flavor is light caramel, nutty malt, juicy hops. A hit of toffee comes in at the finish with a tinge of cocoa.

Bierkrug (2129) - - APR 16, 2011
Part of the Great Stuttgarter Beer Raid 2011 (the worst place award). On tap at the brewpub. Pours a med-brown with a white head. Aroma is bland hops. Taste is mellow but weak. Palate had a strange ending like it was not natural. Below normal.

Michael27 (2001) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 27, 2016
On the tap at Calwer Eck. Auf der ganzen Linie enttäuschend. Trübes Gelb im Glas. Der Schaum war gleich weg. Und der Geschmack??? Was war das eigentlich???

JoeinDahlem (1523) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 8, 2009
Tap at brewpub. Dark orange and hazy, thin but persistent white head. Sweet and grainy nose with orange zest and caramel notes. Nice moderate bitterness, grassy and dry, carried on lively carbonation. Medium body and lightly dry finish. Lightly nutty, toasted-bread backdrop. Like the pils with more backbone.
