rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUN 17, 2007
Quite cloudy orange, pillow off-white head. Nose is crispy noble hops - some bright not-quite-lemon notes, brown sugar & slight caramel. Flavor is light caramel, nutty malt, juicy hops. A hit of toffee comes in at the finish with a tinge of cocoa.

Koelschtrinker (20419) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 19, 2011
Würzig-hopfiger Antrunk, ausbalanciert. Test vom 17.3.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,13,12,12,-,12 - 12,15

JoeinDahlem (1523) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 8, 2009
Tap at brewpub. Dark orange and hazy, thin but persistent white head. Sweet and grainy nose with orange zest and caramel notes. Nice moderate bitterness, grassy and dry, carried on lively carbonation. Medium body and lightly dry finish. Lightly nutty, toasted-bread backdrop. Like the pils with more backbone.

turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - OCT 9, 2005
On tap at the brewpub. Less impressive than the Volksfest, but still a good beer. Amber colour, nicely done bitter hopping.

3.4
pivo (2685) - GERMANY - NOV 11, 2007
Cloudy unfiltered orange color with a foamy head. Big sweet middle, caramelly and nutty with some roasted grains. Then a fairly broad but dull hopping to dry the palate. Well-balanced and a solid beer.

yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2011
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight breadish. Sweet, mld frit and distinct toasted malty flavour. Bitter, roasted malt, barley and breadish.

Trübes Orange mit reichlich Schaum. Malzig, leicht fruchtig, etwas Karamell, sehr würzig, süffig.

Rune (12820) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 28, 2006
300 ml vom fass at Calwer-Eck-Bräu in Stuttgart. Pale rusty, unclear colour. Fruity aroma. Dark fruit and lots of roasted malts in a well balanced flavour. Dry finish (24.04.2006).

TBone (17581) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2007

Hazy orange color, steady creamy white head. Fruity peach and apricose aroma. Fruity-malty flavor, sugar cane, peach and then hoppy bitterness in the finish. Interesting, fruity märzen with good balance of malts and hops.
