Poured from a 750ml bottle. Pours a wonderful ruby color. The aroma is sweet honey, berries, light sulfury notes. The flavor is juicy berries, honey, floral. There is a bright acidity. Great mead.

750 corked bottle- Pours clear pink. Aroma is honey, tart, floral, huckleberries. The taste is similar, honey, very floral, mildly tart, huckleberries really shine here, love the velvety smoothness of the honey, shows a good meadery. Like i said the mouthfeel is velvety smooth, body is medium, the honey lingers long after the swallow. Very tasty stuff!

750 ml bottle bought at the liquor store in Rathdrum, ID. Pours a still rose pink. Aroma consists of honey and huckleberries, no surprise there. Taste is honey-sweet with a tart edge from the huckleberries; also a bit of tannic bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is syrupy. A tasty mead, tasting exactly how I thought it would with no surprises.

Pours into a snifter with a light maroon/ almost a rose color with no head what so ever. Aroma consists of honey and huckleberry fruit with a bit of sourness to the aroma just like a Flemish Sour Ale. I also detect a hint of apples, but that might be just me. The taste is sweet, with definite honey presences, semi-fruity and sort of mild. Palate is dry, ever so lightly sour on the back end, and rather soft and flat. This is my first mead, Honey Wine, I would say it’s definitely something you would have with desert. Sweet fruity and mild, but not too sweet it makes you want to wretch. Overall, It’s nice and light. A nice distraction from beer that I would not mind going back to.

Pours a pinkish peach color. Nose is very musky with notes of tart fruit and light honey sweetness. The flavor is balanced with light acidity and some tart huckleberry mixed with the strong honey sweetness; very little alcohol taste. The finish is balanced and it has a moderately strong aftertaste but is decent.
