Thanks Sandi! Blackish with a brown head. Chocolate and raisins in the aroma, soft, full maltiness, but with tart touches. Soft taste, chocolatey maltiness, light, the presence of lactose isn't excessive, thin light raisin touches. Solid Milk Stout, but doesn't thrill. Shame they had to go through what they had because of that Reinheitsgebot bullshit. ThreeCats (1003) - ISRAEL - OCT 7, 2017
Black with a mocha head. Aroma of roast, espresso, bitter chocolate. Taste roasty, burnt, bitter, not very sweet, but good overall. herrklemann (447) - Graz, AUSTRIA - JUN 14, 2017
Bottle. Cassis, cold brew coffee, light chocolate, a bit green, lightly roasted malts. Light sugary sweetness, light and tart bitterness. Light to medium body, with soft pearly carbonation. dorain (652) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2017
A very decent stout. Not too sweet, despite of the name.
Aus der Flasche auf der Berliner Biermeile 2013 getrunken. Ein sanftes, gut trinbares Stout. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Prost! Ritzn (1813) - GERMANY - MAR 5, 2017
Brown with little beige head. Aroma is licorice, fish, phenols, dandelion. Taste is sour with lots of licorice bitterness. Smoka in the finish. Intensely heavy. Too fishy for me.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Clear, dark brown to black with a frothy, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of cold coffee, milk chocolate and hazelnut. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of milk chocolate, some hazelnut and hints of coffee, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately roasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay! Koelschtrinker (21514) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 10, 2016
Überraschend schwach malziger Antrunk. Überhöhte Karbonisierung, erst später wenig süß, zu trocken. Kurzer herb malziger Nachhall. 8/7/8/7/8/7 hauxe (941) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - NOV 24, 2016
Not sure if we are all rating the same beer here. The picture shows the beer labelled as milk stout. Mine says "Sweet stout", like the name entered here, and the ingredient list is correct, but I have an ABV of 5.2 instead of 6.4.
Pours virtually black from the bottle and leaves a foamy tan head that soon fades away. Aroma is mildly bitter chocolate, porridge. Taste rather bitter for a sweet stout, with notes of slightly charred blackbread on top of an oatmeal base. The finish is accentuated by a sour twang and hints of tobacco. Dry with a medium body. Not exactly a sweet stout for me, but not bad either. Continues (234) - GERMANY - OCT 1, 2016
