Hazy dark amber color with medium sized head. Mild aroma of malt with a touch of cereals, and an impression of honey; delicate and pleasant. Lean mouthfeel, chestnut honey flavor, light residual sweetness with low bitterness.
A bit weird, but not bad.

bottle, from prague alefest 2012. amber with a modest head; aroma of apple and cinnamon; christmas biscuit flavours which get a little dull; faint bitterness; fades away

Bottle. Hazy orange, low off-white head. Caramel and fruit malt base, candied apple, berries, light wooden notes, citric aromatic hop finish - feels christmassy alright. Full chewy body, silky, sparkly mellow mouthfeel. Nice.

BierFiend (248) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Pours amber with a thick white head. Smells of caramel and spices. Tastes sweet, malty, mild hops, and spices. Delicious Christmas ale.

Thanks to jonas for that bottle. Looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Aroma a bit soapy. Starts strong, malty-spicy, notes of christmas spicy and butter cookie. Finish more alcoholic, but still well balanced. Warming aftertaste. A good one!

500 ml flip-top bottle from Wasana’s in Germany. Pours a a dark amber-orange color with a fast to go beige head. Aroma is citrus, candied malt. Taste is rather light for style but a really nice touch of fruit and dry wood. Palate is also smooth even for this style. Not a huge fan of style most of this time but this is nice.
