COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Unfiltriertes dunkles Starkbier
Rein untergärige Bierhefe
Ausgewogener Geschmack nach Karamell und Röstaromen
Hauptgärung im offenen Gärbottich; Reifung in liegenden Lagertanks
Gebraut nach dem Rezept des Brauers Benedikt Fischer aus Peißenberg
7,2% vol. alc, Stammwürze 16,5%

0,5 l bottle at Timo A’s. Dark amber color. Nutty and bready aroma. Sweet nutty, bready, toffeish and caramelly taste with toasted bread, raisins and some background fruitiness. Good beer, but not so lager like.

Idiosynkrasie (8050) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 20, 2013
500ml bottle. Wonderful clear ruby red glowing mahogany colour with average, frothy, diminishing, beige head. Dark malty aroma with notes of caramel, a nuttily touch. Taste is moderately sweet dark malty with a nuttily touch, notes of caramel. Not overly complex, but nicely mild malty, balanced and drinkable.

pivnizub (10842) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - MAY 16, 2013
Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, unclear, quickly collapsing loose off-white head, sweetish toasty-fruity nose, traces of caramel barely detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied; shy traces of caramel in the short sweet-bitter finish. Pretty disappointing...

3.5
MoritzF (10129) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2013
(swing top bottle) Hazy, dark amber colour with a ruby shine and a big and beige foamy head. Slightly molassy and toasty malty aroma with caramel, bready notes and a subtle fruity touch of dried fruits/raisins. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toasty cara-malty base with hints of dried fruits, bread and chocolate; moderately sweet malt-accented finish with a balanced level of bitter and drying hops. Well-rounded and not too fat dark Bock. 23.II.13
