COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alljährlich im Herbst - und das seit 200 Jahren - geht der unverwechselbare Ruf "O’zapft is!" um die Welt und lockt Millionen von Besuchern zum Oktoberfest nach München. Das Wies’n-Märzen und hier vor allem die Veränderung dieses Biertyps über die Jahrzehnte sind Vorbild für unser Truchtlinger Märzen. Eine feine Balance aus hellen, dunklen und Karamellmalzen geben diesem Bier die früher normale, kräftige Farbe und den malzig, karamellartigen Geschmack. Die Bekömmlichkeit unseres Märzens wird geprägt von einem hohen Vergärungsgrad, einer angenehmen Rezenz und einer deutlich wahrnehmbaren Bittere.
Truchtlinger Märzen passt hervorragend zu Geflügel, Braten und Hausmannskost.

Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat and grain. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Hearty cara-malt character with biscuity and nutty notes; medium-dry sweet malty and delicately hop bitter finish. UPDATED: SEP 15, 2016 Re-rate from tap. Very sweet, spicy notes, off-flavors, medium light body, sweet sickly finish. Something went wrong here.... Old rating, Bottle 8 4 7 4 13 Dark amber, plentifull carbonation huge golden head. Honey aromatic nose, light roast, berries and flowers. Medium body, sparkly/fizzy on the palate. Fat & fruity malt, light caramel, a hint toast, aromatic and grassy hops. Pleasant drink.

Bottle. Light milky amber-brown in colour with steady head and smooth body. Nose of dark grains. Taste of malt, nuts, roasted caramel, torf and toffee. Very easy to drink, very gentle and not that overwhelming.
