3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub. A warm sweet grain dominates with a bit of pineapple and plenty of ethyl acetate. Some faint vinous fruit. In the flavor the dryness of the barrel and the wine come out more strongly, marred but too-young Brett ethyl acetate. Get the tape out of my fucking beer, already. A little unbalanced. Hot.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear golden body with a little white head. Smells a lot like white wine (which it was aged in). Doesn’t taste the greatest to start out. Can get a little bit of the Belgian candy of the tripel but mostly the wine comes through. Great thought, ok execution
