On tap at CBC the Saturday night after Belgian Beer Fest up in Boston. Pours a hazy amber brown with a thin white head. Floral and sweet. Nice and flowery, soft musk. A touch sweet, light funk. Soft bitterness and toast, lingering sweet floral notes with nice heather tones. Liked this a good bit. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - SEP 19, 2011
Tons of herbs and flowers on the nose. Sweet flavors, tons of herbs, flavored like a stillwater saison but with a ale style. furthur (1229) - Eagle River, Alaska, USA - JAN 18, 2017
Bottle, big, fizzy white head rapidly died, beer is tawny amber. Aroma is bread dough, malt, spice, honey, spruce. Taste is lemon, berries, malt, slightly floral honey. Palate is light, carbonation a bit lively. This is nicely different. Pair it with flannel jammie’s, quiet winter nights and snoring dogs. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 3, 2010
(Draught) Pours a cloudy amber body with moderate off-white head. Aroma of heather, herbs, and rosehips. Flavor of florals, herbs, citrus, rosehips, and toasted grain with a somewhat dry finish. thornecb (6061) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 19, 2012
Pours deep mahogany into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Spring flower and grass aromas. Soft, yet crisp with sweet honey and toasted caramel front to back. Lasting grass finish. Dry, lasting earthy bitter finish.

A refreshing, aromatic and tasty brew. Perfect for summer. Drinkability is quite high as it’s not too heavy or overpowering. I really enjoyed this unique style. wlajwl (7067) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 1, 2015
Aroma is slightly funky, fruit and flowers. The flavor is citrus, fruit, flowers/spices, malts and a slightly funky/sour finish. markas101 (2499) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Cask, The Francis Newton, Sheffield, UK. Ale festival 2012. Light gold, pronounced heather aroma, some faint hops. Slight skunkiness. Floral honey flavour, thick with a long flowery finish. Good As a specimen, not sure I could do more than one. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 30, 2012
22oz bottle in a lager glass. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toasted notes from the malts, plus floral hops. There is also a grape-like and herbal character from the flowers. Flavor a nice blend of these. Average texture. An interesting and unique beer. Tap at CBC. Aroma of unique Lavender. Soft earthy wet hay. Sweet doughy raisin bread. Taste is herbs. Wild flowers. But touch too much floral scented soap to entice me to drink this regularly. But neat. And fun to try. Well made.
