Simple traditional bitter aroma, some bitter hops clear even from the aroma. Soft palate, carbonation low. Full, but simple. Finish has a pleasnt gentle apple-like fruitiness. Some drains later, but I suspect that’s where we’re sitting in the pub garden.
50cl bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Gold with a ring of off-white head; the aroma is malty and slightly spicy; soft malty flavour with some caramel and sour plums; developing some spicy bitterness to finish. A pleasant bitter. bacchanalia (146) - milton, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2009
On draught. A nice whiff of malt on the nose. A very soft style with good flavour that characterises Cambridge Moonshine brews. The flavour is predominately malty with a slight caramel, that dissipates into a pleasing clean bitter crisp finish.
