Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet fruit, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, overriped figs. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20101201]

Cask (Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2011)
Peachy orange. Slightly watery taste. Grainy, and with a light hop finish that has a rich bitterness to it.

Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer. Light dry palate. Light toffee malt and really light orangey hop. Nothing unusual but nicely done.
