COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer represents a new venture into the world of beer and mystical experience. Contemporary theories of sound therapy are incorporated into a process which aligns this Belgian-style golden ale to the specific frequency that is expressed in meditation circles by the mantra "OM. While resting in French oak chardonnay barrels for six months, the barrels and their contents were vibrated using therapeutic tuning forks and Tibetan chanting bowls at a frequency of 136.10 Hz @ 432.10 Hz. Studies have shown that vibration affects the crystalline structure of liquids and that water has the ability to memorize frequency information and hold sound at nearly five times the magnitude of air. From Plato to Pythagoras to Kepler scholars have experimented with ways in which we define the sound of the universe and how it is relative to our own existence. Our process created an optimal environment, also, for the naturally residing microflora in the oak, bringing into the beer subtle expressions of Brettanomyces which complement the beers dry but malty palate with flavors and aromas of pineapple and peach fruit. OM expresses a truly harmonious balance of honeyed malt and hop, yeast and flora, and oak character, with a final stated goal of assisting humanity in its quest towards inner bliss, equanimity, and world harmony. Oh, and its delicious.

Pour deep clear gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Grape and oak aromas. Soft with sweet dry oak and chardonnay upfront turning to earth, tart brett and marshmallows in the lasting finish. Very close to a white wine flavor with a bit of funk and bitterness in the finish. Based on the reviews, it looks like this one benefited from some time in a bottle.

Sampled at Mass Brewers Fest. Poured a clear amber/gold with a thin white head. Sour fruit and yeast aroma. Light honey sweetness quickly wiped out by more sour fruit. More tart than sour. Some oak notes. Light bodied and effervescent.

Draught at 3rd Annual Sour Fest, 3/26/16.
Dark copper-to-ripe peach-colored body shows minimal haze and a small, white head that fades quickly to a ring.
In the nose theres a fair bit of oak and strong fruitiness (black cherry, peach, nectarine). Definitely can pick out the light butteriness from the chardonnay, while the brett shows off plentiful limeskin and other tart notes that work well balancing the sweet/sour buttery oak/acetic character. No alcohol or flaw.
Very strong fruity notes emerge initially, cherries, peaches, strawberries and theres a good helping of tart brett that in turn succumbs to a moderately sweet amber-like maltiness with caramel wrapping itself about the buttery oak. A lot going on here, but it seems maybe a bit too jumbled and the heavy fruitiness, buttery oak and malt sweetness all seem to pull the beer in different directions. Texture is lightly slick/buttery/oaky with soft, but mostly tight carbonation. Certainly making it sound worse than it actually is and its still an interesting little beer, just outdone by a number of the other delicious beers on for this fest.

Reddish orange. No head aroma is faint but I get a little plastic. Grapes, nuts, lemon? Fig and peaches. Fleeting finish with some caramel.

draft at brewery, couldnt finish it. it was a very sweet biere de garde with a tiny bit of brett. This is one of the best increasingly undrinkable per sip. Meh damn.

Aroma is overripe fruits, some cheesy funk and candy apple. Taste is up front very fruity but finish is very sweet and sticky and hard to drink.

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy amber pour with a white head. Light citrus aromas. Moldy sour peach and nectarine notes with malty undercurrents. Tangy, but not overly tart. Interesting. This batch has an ABV of 7.8%. Average body and mouthfeel.

Tap at CBC. Aroma of big fruity apricot and green grapes. Reminiscent of barrel aged upright beers. Sweaty over ripened pear Brett. Tasty. Fun to drink. Menu says 7.8% abv.

Draft at the brew pub. 5 oz taster. Nose is funky oak and Brettanomyces, good amount of funk. Taste is mostly the same with a bit of musty hay. Mouthfeel has a mild Puckering affect. Medium in body with a slightly drying texture. Decent. Well worth a try if you enjoy Brett.
