Hazy gold pour with a 2 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is full of pepper, earthy spice, some sharp, fruity esters and a bit of cereal. Flavor is black pepper, earth, floral and planty notes and lots of doughy yeast. Medium body with a velvety entry, leading to a slightly chalky, but still creamy finish with a light, but sharp and blanketing carbonation and noticeable black pepper heat that lingers and warms the throat and stomach a bit. Good, but not really much going on besides the pepper. I really wish I would have though ahead and bought a nice juicy ribeye to accompany the rest of this bottle. Picked up at Hokus Pokus in Gonzales, LA. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is full of peppercorns with some wheat and yeast. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of pink peppercorn notes as well as some yeast, light floral notes, light heat and biscuit malt. Very nice mix of spice and malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

The taste is very spicy, with peppercorn and white pepper. The white pepper attacks from the back of my tongue and up into my nasal cavity. Citrus flavors are of lemon and subtle orange. Bottle. Hazy orange tinted gold. Aroma is interesting and pleasant, with elements of biscuit malt, light yeast, dusty peppercorns, and hibiscus. For me, the hibiscus really came to stand out over the duration of this beer, but on the palate, it shared equal billing with cracked peppercorns. Interestingly, even though the peppercorn character was unmistakable (and very pleasant), there was not a lot of heat in the finish other than a transient tingling in the soft palate. From a bomber. Pours hazy orange copper with a thin white head. Smells like sweet citrus hops. Slightly malty and musky. Light body and medium carbonation. Tastes like malty grapefruit and light hops.
