Can at The Beagle, Sproughton, Ipswich. Pours golden with an average sized frothy white head. Aroma is of hop, grass, citrus, malt and lightly toasted. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light to medium body, slight oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Not bad. madnorwegian (244) - FRANCE - SEP 22, 2017
Solid and very pleasant lager. Nice cereal aromas and hoppy finish. Bright pale yellow color. Could drink this all day. jasonbenali (225) - Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 21, 2017
Pours a pale yellow with a finger of clean white head and a touch of lacing.
Aroma is hay, citrus and with light malts. Taste is quite sweet with some bitterness in a reasonable length finish for a lager.
Decent enough lager with some nice malts in there, but nothing exciting.
Their India Helles Lager is pretty decent though and actually much nearer a 'craft' lager whoever the owner these days... Davros IX (424) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2017
Can on the train. A bit of a wishy washy lager and I would be hard placed to separate this from the industrial lagers in a blind taste off. It’s a lager and there is not much to say, apart from having no urge to drink it again. p0urmeac0ld0ne (181) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - SEP 7, 2017
not my favourite lager i'll be honest. even for a craft lager, i'll have to admit that there is plenty of others i'd rather drink instead. wouldn't mind tasting on draught, or even in a bottle. only ever seen in cans, be it in tesco or at the black heart pub in london. not bad, just not for me.

Bottle. Clear golden beer with a large white head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, bread, herbs and grass. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel, bread, herbs, toffee and spices. Well balanced. theprof (1080) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2017
Bottle. Pours pale golden clear body with white bubbly top that fades rapidly. Aroma has hay, grass, herbs, but lightly and the same applies to taste. Lightly sweet, bitter and sour. If lager is intended to be bland and unremarkable then this is a triumph. Sigmund (7767) - Tau, NORWAY - AUG 30, 2017
330 ml bottle at The Wild Boar, Aberdeen. ABV is 4.6%. Hops are Perle and Hallertauer Tradition. Extremely pale straw colour, white head. Strong aroma of newmown grass. The flavour is slightly sweet with some bittering hops. Not great. AssKicker (592) - Strasbourg, FRANCE - AUG 26, 2017
(330 ml can) Pours a clear, straw-yellow beer, with steady medium carbonation, and a frothy white head. Smells like a pilsner-helles hybrid: butterscotch, herbal notes, a crisp noble-hop bitterness, and some mineral water.
There isn’t a lot going on here, and the body is thin, fizzy, and slightly watery. Bit of a shame, really, as helles is difficult to find in the UK! Wouldn’t buy this again.
