Keg & Bottle;
Helles and Pilsner combine – the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. It’s pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, it’s how a great lager should taste.

shadey (2166) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 30, 2017
12oz bottle. Pale golden color with a thin head of tiny white bubbles and cream. Aroma is grassy, lemony, and grainy. A sharp and aggressive beer that’s American in nature, despite coming from a British brewer. Good.

Bottle. Almost clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of grain, bread, citrus, earth and floral hops. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of grain and floral hops. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Bit metallic, otherwise nice.

Not overly fizzy. Quite yeasty, but fairly bland otherwise. There’s better in the style.
