COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle;
Helles and Pilsner combine the pale, crisp body of Pils with the gentle hop profile of Helles. Its pale gold, refined, elegant and dry. Soft biscuity malt, a light lemony, peppery hop character and the sort of bitterness which quenches and never overpowers. Matured for a long time in tank, its how a great lager should taste.

330ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a good white head. Looks good in the glass. Mild aroma with a slight metallic tint. Some sweetness, flavours of banana and tropical fruits with a touch of citrus. Very short finish. Could do with more at the back, but pretty good for a lager.

Camden makes great brews this one is not one of their best ones. Quite common in almost every aspect, not tat you cant make a good lager, but this seams a bit borring.

330ml bottle. Pours a clean pale golden colour with a small white head, poor retention. Aroma: biscuity grainy malt, light grassy hops. Taste: bittersweet - biscuity malt, grains, hops are mildly bitter but more so than most lagers. Average carbonation, watery body. Good effort but lacking flavour.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale yelow with a small, white head. Very grassy hops, lovely. Medium body, clean malt back bone, dry, aromatic finish, but never extremely bitter. Extremely easygoing and pleasant, very quaffable. 251016

Fizzy and light yellow. Not much aroma but a large dose of wet biscuit on the tongue. Not otherwise very remarkable.

Can at Sovereigns, Woking. 22/07/16. Slight piney aroma - something like that, a lot of fag smoke! Light gold and bubbly. Extremely smooth, a hot of carbonation. Lacks flavour - a wall of sweetness with a touch of bitterness. Easy drinking, not much thinking required.
