Pint at Far Rockaway, Shoreditch, London (5):
Smooth & easy to drink, it definitely reminded me of Guinness more than most dry stouts do; its almost a craft version of it & a good alternative to it as well.

Drank as a draught. Really nice and smooth. The taste has some smoke and is a bit sweet. Looks really nice.

Beese (2571) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2014
Draught at Draught House, Battersea Bridge on 9 Jun 2012. Poured black, with a thick, beige pillowhead. Aroma was hard to pick up through the nitrogenated head, but there was some dark malt, roast and vanilla. Coffee in the flavour, with some roast malt and ash. Finish was tobacco, grain and burnt toast.

Sampled on draught at the newly re-opened Horseshoe pub in Hampstead. The colour is completely black with a beige head. Aroma of heavily roasted malts and chocolate. The taste is quite smoky with the roasted malts but also has a sweetness. There are dark chocolate and coffee flavours there, as well as an earthy bitterness. A very good stout. Nice one Camden!

StoutHead (962) - DENMARK - NOV 26, 2014
On tap at The Queens Head. Pours black with a tan head. Taste is of roasted malts, caramel, coffee and a bit of licorice. Medium body and carbonation. Looks like a Guinness but is not as creamy or sweet. Has a dry finish. Nothing special but does taste fine.
