Can from the Brewery Shop in Berko, pours a clear golden yellow with an off white head. The smell is tropical fruit, pineapple, hint of resin and citrus. The taste is pineapple, tropical fruit, some pine and citrus ending dry and crisp. Light++ body and mildly sticky with tight carbonation. Pretty nice stuff. On tap, poured into a sample glass. The aroma is bread dough and herb with overripe fruit notes that turns to bright, fresh fruit and caramel with dank and nut undertones. There’s a slight haze to the orange-yellow hue that’s topped by a dense, white head with light retention and mild lace. The taste is a blend of medium high sweet and medium bitter. The texture is oily with a fuzzy carbonation. The medium body has flavors of banana walnut bread with supporting notes of citrus and toffee. The finish is crisp with herb and caramel notes that turn to bitter grapefruit. The grapefruit sticks around in the aftertaste along with the banana walnut bread. It’s a bit astringent and somewhat dry. Cunningham (8712) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2015
