Magnum gives clean bitterness. Mohawk, chinook & simcoe (used in the boil, whirlpool & for dry hopping) give the beer ‘ipa-style’ intense hop flavour.
Speciality malt can give ipas a cloying palate. With IHL, we’ve kept the malt grist pale, with only a little speciality malt to balance out all of those hops. Pilsner, Munich and Carapils
The result is an extremely hoppy lager that acheives our consistent aim of balance, all packed into a highly portable 330 ml can.

Can. Cloudy gold with a mostly lasting lacing white head. Aroma of apple, citrus, exotic fruits, mango, pineapple, peach. Medium carbonation, slightly oily mouthfeel, little bit sticky. Great stuff.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Tom L. Yellow with a white head. Lovely hoppy aroma full of citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor of fruity hops, slightly sweetish, but is mostly dry, with mild bitterness. Rather light-bodied.

Golden pour with a fluffy white head. Malty, slightly dank, floral and citrus aromas. Sweet, malty, citrus and a fair bit of bitterness. Top stuff

Sample at Great Grog’s bottled beer festival. Aroma is hay, hops more than you would expect in a lager. Taste is fruity, hoppy, grass. Top in its class.

This is bloody good - I can hardly believe it’s lager - better than Mikkeller American Dream which is saying something - fantastic hop mix - perfect balance with low impact sweet malt - crisp finish and long long long hoppy aftertaste. Brilliant.

Can from Blackrock cellar. Pours hazy amber. White fluffy head. Pissy, floral, citrus rind, lemon. Biscuit malts give way to dusty, lemon bittering finish. Bubbly and crisp. Has that creamy lager body. Leaves a sweet grapefruit aftertaste. This is very nice and very easy to drink.

Tap @Euston Tap. Clear golden, small frothy white head. Malty aroma with hints of citrus. Sweetish, citrus and caramel flavour. Not bad for the style.
