Magnum gives clean bitterness. Mohawk, chinook & simcoe (used in the boil, whirlpool & for dry hopping) give the beer ‘ipa-style’ intense hop flavour.
Speciality malt can give ipas a cloying palate. With IHL, we’ve kept the malt grist pale, with only a little speciality malt to balance out all of those hops. Pilsner, Munich and Carapils
The result is an extremely hoppy lager that acheives our consistent aim of balance, all packed into a highly portable 330 ml can.
