On tap (as Radical Red) at the Jolly Butchers, Stoke Newington, 20th March 2011. Reddish amber looks - like Brewdog 5am Saint. Similar overall with lots of hops on nose and tongue. Good balance. Leighton (22324) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2011
Keg at the London Brewers Showcase 2011. Pours foggy, red-brown with a creamy, off-white head. Beautiful aroma, lots of sticky pine, grapefruit and toast. Flavor follows up well. Medium sweet with a prominant toasted malt character. Plenty of grapefruit, light dirt, some toast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, pithy citrus, strong grapefruit, mild pine resin. Really damn solid beer. Very drinkable. anders37 (27062) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 16, 2011

Super grapefruity aroma. Amberish in colour, smallish keggy head. Crsp light grains, again more grapefruit. Refreshing palate. Nice long hoppy finish. Very good for a keg. Very good for a red too. Two of my stereotypes up-ended here.

Arms, London. Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, herbs and some slight grassy notes. Flavour is very fruity and floral hops along with some mild maltyness as well. Big floral hoppy finish and aftertaste. Beautiful balance.
Keg at the Rake. It pours slightly hazy red-brown, with a thin yellow-white head and fine carbonation. The nose is red fruits (inc. strawberry), sour sherbet and some metal. The taste is hay, lime zest, grass, pine, astringent, metal and some spice, with a long bitter finish. It is perhaps a bit too gassy and too thin to support the bitterness. Rake, London. Medium-sized creamy blond head. Clear reddish amber body. Fruity and light resinous hop aroma, backed by a whiff of crisp, lightly toasted malts. Taste is hop driven. Clean, with lots of fruity American-style hops for flavoring. Tight, oily bitterness. Fairly dry, restrained malt body with some toasted notes. Light to medium full. Fruity-bitter ending. Very refreshing, highly drinkable.
Filtered Keg Euston Tap London. An amber beer with chill haze. and a whitish head and lace. Good hops throughout this. Like a US amber but with no crystal malt sweetness. Nice bitterness and a little toast flavour. Scrummy.
