Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2014
330ml bottle. Clear mid-dark amber. Decent creamy-looking head on top. Smells like any old lager really but a bit more bready. Taste is caramel, bread, old hops, cardboard; sweet but finish is fairly dry. Wanted to like it but it tastes too much of twig water.

Karstenborg (1081) - Hasselager, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2014
Amber colour with small off-white head. Aroma is honey, lime and caramel. Taste is honey and smoked malt.

Oakes (17842) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 22, 2014
Deep amber, thick head, pretty good caramelly malt aroma. Full malty character, toast, caramel, rich deep amber. English märzen? And it’s good?

nazzty (1376) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2014
Strange that four brewers do not manage to get to a more interesting brew. Tastes like an average Märzen, neither more nor less.

hackobock (4045) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 13, 2014
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours clear red/amber with a small off-white head. Caramel, fruit, malt aroma. Taste is sweet malty with a light bitter note, finish has some caramel sweetness together with a smooth bitterness.

MikeKeller (955) - Kemi, FINLAND - MAR 2, 2014
33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear coppery coloured beer with a off-white, small bubbly head. Delicious herbal hoppy aroma has caramel malts. Flavour is on the sweet side with round caramel maltiness and nice bitterness in the end. Very soft and smooth mouthfeel. Only bad thing about this experience was that the bottle wasn’t at least 50 cl.

joergen (28458) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 28, 2014
Bottle at home. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and grass with notes of sulfur. Fruity flavour pf caramel, grass, hops and licorice. Hoppy finish.

Ungstrup (37954) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2014
Bottled. A amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and spices. The flavor is sweet malt, toffee, and some nutmeg, leading to a bitter finish.
