2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2012 Plastic bottle shared by Paul. Pours gold with white head. Nose of lemon and sweet malt. Taste of lightly carbonated lemon in water with some hints of sweet malt. Lighter bodied. Surprisingly drinkable. More like a Sprite knockoff than a typical beer.
Slightly hazy, dull straw. The aroma is lightly fruity with a fruity, slightly juicy character. A fairly characterful beer, refreshing, lightly yeasty with some good complexity. jredmond (8283) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Plastic Bottle courtesy of Paul aka Dick in son beer, aka Flynt double Flo double S aka Spiderbite Dad. Pours a bright, clear yellow with bubbly carbonation. Aroma is light, light grain, and a hint of citrus. Mouthfeel is spritzer, carbonated, with notes of lemon, grain and light spice. Nice, drinkable and not offensive. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 12, 2012

Green plastic bottle courtesy of Paul at a tasting at James’s place. Pours a hazed gold with small white floaties and a thin white head. Corn and grain on the nose, a bit of lemon. Medium bodied, grain and more light corn, a bit of lemon. Empty overall, but rather refreshing and very easy drinking. Actually fairly decent. Hand poured plastic bottle from store in Cape Town. Limp looking but warm honey blonde. The aroma is painfully sweet, sugary. The sweetness continues but does not leave any cloying sticky elements on the tongue. The finish has some sweet citrus peel, like tangerine and ripe kumquat skin, preventing it from being simplistic.
