Early pioneers assembled for social gatherings at the gristmill on 12 Mile Creek to enjoy food, drinks and tell stories of their travels and adventures. This is our inspiration for a new, innovative style of beer that is adventurous and flavourful. A unique fusion of spirited new world hops balanced with a special lager yeast creates a cultured body with tropical fruit and citrus notes. This India Pale Lager is ideal for both IPA and Lager aficionados.

Pale golden pour. White head. The nose is bright and fruity. Grassy with a bit of pepper and some light zestiness. A touch of fruitiness and kiwi fruit. Dry malt base. Fruity and a little bit peppery. Tasty brew.

can. pours clear golden with a faint white-ish cap offering some retention and lacing. very fruity amber caramel with no particular depth, borderliner overwhelming, herb and grass, no lagering notes whatsoever, fairly bitter citrus - potent lemon in fact. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; smooth and semi-sweet faintly grassy finish. a bit dull under-fragrant lightly toasted and hoppy ''lager''. o-k.

Sample at the brewery outlet, and a few cans subsequently. Bright gold with a dense white head. Brewed with a lager yeast, and IPA hops, delivering the perfect synthesis of both like the magnificent Yakima Pilsner from Vocation. Aroma and taste of Ruby grapefruit, tropical fruit tomato vine and cat pee. Delicious and refreshing.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma is citrusy. Taste is slightly bitter with notes of bread malt, lemon, pine and some spice. For me this is like a pilsener with spicy pine hops. Meh.

I enjoyed the slightly stronger hoppy taste of this one compared to the Ambear. Cameron’s certainly makes good beer.

piscator34 (2696) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 12, 2017
Can. Pale gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of white grapefruit pith, grainy malt, white pepper, and juniper gum. Flavors are of dried grass, more juniper, wet stones, pale malt and pithy citrus. Light bodied with a balancing bitterness. A little understated, but still fairly tasty.

Wonderful hoppy aroma. Lemon, grapefruit, tropical fruit and pine on the tongue with grassy notes. Fruity finish. Delicious.

473 ml can from LCBO (part of Brewmaster’s Selection 4 Pack). Pours a cloudy golden colour with good-sized white head that sticks around. Aroma is lemon, tropical fruit, light pepper and light maltiness. Flavour is lively lemon zest, some tropical fruit notes, some peppery spice and gentle pale maltiness. Average body. Nice one,

can. Poured clear amber with a frothy white head. Fruity citrus aroma. Medium body, soft carbonation, bitter citric mouthfeel. Pale malts, a mineral quality, fruity flavours of lemon zest and apricot, herbal hops, very bitter sticky finish.

[8573-20160709] Tap. Lemon mineral plastic aroma. Hazy, yellow orange body with a quick bubbly head. More lemony grains in the flavour. Medium body. Good. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2
