COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer was originally brewed as a one-off draught beer for our specialty beer bars. The demand was so high for a return that we decided to bottle this one and share it with everyone. A deceptively dark brew that is fermented using lager yeast, our Dark266 is actually a much lighter tasting beer than one would anticipate. One try and were sure youll "have a dark side" too.

Deep brown pour with a tight tan head. The aroma is clean and a little bit roasty. A bit of toasted brown malt and some herbal hoppiness. A bit of light earthiness on the back. Its simple, but decent.

bottle. Poured clear dark auburn with a decent laced beige head. Toasted malty nose. A thin texture, very smooth. Smokey, roasted malt flavour with cocoa. A nice drinkable dark beer.

Pours dark brown that shines deep orange-red in the light. Big rocky head. Bready, biscuity aroma. Sweet, caramel maltiness dominates in the mouth. Fairly thin and a little aggressively carbonated for my tastes. Touch of metal in it.

341 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a very dark, slightly reddish brown with small tan head. Aroma of roast malt, light chocolate. Taste is roasty verging on smoky and nutty with a little chocolate. Finish is dry. Nothing great but entirely pleasant.

Very peculiar beer. Nice head and appearance. Doesnt quite share the typical characteristics of a lager or an ale. Flavour is a bit too sour for my liking, but unique for sure.

Bottle 341 ml from Slijterij van Bergen in Eindhoven (NL). Brown with red reflections under a beige foam with big bubbles. Flavor malt and licorice. Light taste of roasted, nuts, brown sugar, a little watery. Final toast, metal and moderate bitterness.
