Bottle from Asda. A pleasant enough beer with some soft caramel notes. Decent enough, but lacks character. Scores in the region of 2.7 to 3.4 would be appropriate. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2004
(Bottled, 4.7% ABV) Light amber color with quite small head. Slightly sweet, quite fresh and aromatic, toffeeish hop aroma. Quite pleasant, hoppy and oaky flavor with not much maltiness. Light to medium-bodied, slicky palate with moderate, smooth carbonation. A decent, hoppy ale, but not that interesting. TBone (17798) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 19, 2004

Golden with steady cremy white head. Aroma is hoppy with hay and mint. Citrusy, grassy but uninteresting. Slightly bitter finish. Somehow I don’t get this one.
Amber, golden hue with a small foamy head. Very pleasant light hoppy aroma. Well hopped taste with plenty of citrus and a medium length bitter finish. Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - SEP 9, 2004
Lightly golden, short tight head, some lacing. Floral and malt aroma. Medium body, taste starts off with a light bready malt sweetness with some sharpness along the sides. Finishes with a mildy round hops - I’m still not sure if I’m a fuggles fan.

Bottle from Asda. Poured a nice pale golden colour, with a minimal head. Aroma is hoppy with malt. Citrusy and hoppy flavour, with a hoppy bitter finish.Medium mouthfeel with some carbonation. Had this cold from the fridge, as it’s warming I’m getting more sweetness in the taste. Anyway, good beer. johndoughty (5504) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2004
Golden appearance with a head that evaporated quickly.Sllightly citrus and very easy to sip at.For some reason I didn’t think i would like this one but how wrong can you be. its always nice to be pleasantly surprised by a beer as i was with this one. rauchbier (3908) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2004
Bottle, from Asda. Gold, good white head and gentle condition. Some sulphur, a little hops and a dominant caramel in the nose. Pleasant chalky mix of hops, caramel and light citrus fruitiness in the mouth with a developing dry hop bitterness into the finish, but tempered by more sweet caramel.
