Bottle. Dark brown, almost black with no head at all. Initial aroma is chocolate, caramel, burnt syrups, licorice and coca-cola. In the mouth its very roasty and toasty with some coffee flavours, burnt sugars, chocolate, syrup, licorice. Finish is more bitter than expected. Mouthfeel is a little syrupy-slick. chrisv10 (17270) - DENMARK - MAY 28, 2012

Poured this one into an English pint glass. It’s appearance is very dark with a slight ruby red hugh. The aroma is rosted oats and carmal. The tast is caramel and rosted oats also. On the palate it is slightly oily with a little carbonation across the tongue. Overall I like this one it may be a little on the sweet side but not overly sweet.

Milk chocolate aroma. Black, light brown small head, fair lace. Sweet, light bitter, chocolate, cacao, black currant. Sticky, flat. Very easy going, flavourful but too sweet.
Bottles from Beers of Europe. Fruity toffee malt aroma. Almost black colour, not much head. Mild fruity chocolate & toffee flavour. Slightly thin texture but smooth & a bit creamy. A decent stout. ralphdot (1092) - Billingham, Durham, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2011
4.4% very dark colour with a good head, roast malt aroma, bitter roast malt with some chocolate taste, Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 4, 2011
Deep black with just a hint of a russet colour in the dimple of the glass. Off-white head that disappears quickly. Definite roasty, chocolate aromas which make themselves apparent upon tasting. It starts out chocolate and sweet and then cools and becomes a little bit bitter. The finish returns to that chocolaty sweetness. A pleasant enough beer to go back for seconds, so definite tick in the box for me. MotherBrother (941) - Aalborg, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2011
Pour black, with an off-white head. Really good looking.
The aoma is heavy on the chokolate and coffee side, so it is a bit off balance.
The palate is watery, and there is a lot of fizzy co2.
