Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 4, 2011
Deep black with just a hint of a russet colour in the dimple of the glass. Off-white head that disappears quickly. Definite roasty, chocolate aromas which make themselves apparent upon tasting. It starts out chocolate and sweet and then cools and becomes a little bit bitter. The finish returns to that chocolaty sweetness. A pleasant enough beer to go back for seconds, so definite tick in the box for me.

MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2011
Pour black, with an off-white head. Really good looking. The aoma is heavy on the chokolate and coffee side, so it is a bit off balance. The palate is watery, and there is a lot of fizzy co2.

AshtonMcCobb (6869) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 30, 2011
50cl bottle. Pours opaque black with a cappuccino head - looks great! The nose is intense coffee. The taste has coffee and bitter chocolate. The palate is medium to big in structure and texture and there is a slightly bitter rather than creamy finish. Overall, a great stout.

Ober (2819) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - JUN 8, 2011
An almost black colored beer, with a foamy dark beige head. The aroma of some coffee with sweet fruits. The taste also from thin coffee, sweet fruits. The aftertaste is bitter with sweet.

rosenbergh (11753) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 28, 2011
500 ml bottle. From King’s Lynn, England.
Black colour with red hue and tiny tan head. Mild roasted malt, some mild diacetyl and floury malt in aroma. Roasted caramel malt, mild diacetyl and mild balancing hops in flavour. Medium carbonation. Decent Stout.

BeerCast_Rich (1906) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 4, 2011
[500ml bottle, Beers of Europe, King’s Lynn] Black pour with a fluffy, light beige head. Slight coffee aromas. No real hop presence, there’s a decent amount of sweetness that might get too much after a while, but one bottle is pleasant enough drinking [17062009]

greenmanalishi (551) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2011
Bottle. Woodlands Garden Centre, Leicestershire. Pours dark, deep brown with tan head. Roasty, dry cocoa aroma. Full of stout flavours - nut, treacle, liquorice, roastiness, a little coffee essence/butterscotch sweetening. Creamy and satisfying mouthfeel.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 1, 2011
Bottle: Small brown foamy head on top of a black beer. A very light smell caramel, toasted malts, hint of liquorice. Very strange watery mix of lightly toasted ingredients with a light hint of sweets and very light hint of bitter and liquorice. Low carbo, low body and soft mouthfeel.
