3.4
Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 27, 2004
Appearance: hazy apricot color, underneath a short, slight, though terrifically bubbly white head. Aroma, musty, sour, citric, a slice of lemon, and a drizzle of orange zest, yeasty, with a brilliant hoppy twist, almost champagne-like in effervescence. Taste: a blast, right-off of hopp-tude, but theareafter, the flavor is mild, though that blast returns with every subsequent sip. Flavor continues to be spicy, citric, and kicky, though light in body with a medium, uneventful finish. Despite certain disappointments, the flavor never lacks a recurring spicy tinge.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2016 Sweet, yasty and fruity (apple) aroma. Hazy, yellow coloured with a thin white head. Taste is a bit alcoholic, sweet, fruity (apple), perhaps some honey. More bitter towards the end. Very sparkling beer.
Because I like the Pampus crew; I decided to drop Huyghe ratings. Originally 2.8

Bottle at The Hill, Birmingham. Not sure if this is labelled the same as the one I had but anyhow... Very smooth, yellow Belgian lager, which is pleasnt without ever being challenging or exciting. The flavour is of butter or cake mixture, and slides down the throat without hitting any tastebuds. Not particularly fizzy, or different from many other brews.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 17, 2003
frothy, generically belgian stuff. sweet, yeasty, full and swillable. pretty much as expected

2.8
eczematic (1326) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2003
not bad, an easydrinkin belgian. pretty carbonated, caramelly and fruity, with plenty of coriander. bland and sweet though. i wonder if belgian university students are into this stuff. probably more like jupiler i guess.

TipsyMcStager (1139) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 27, 2003
yeast, fruits, alcohol in the aroma. Pours straw yellow, cloudy, head is thin and quickly dissipates. Fairly dry, but some sweetness and alcohol. Not a high-end Belgian but not bad.

2.4
NectarFarm (128) - Calgary, CANADA - AUG 14, 2003
I don't understand why every beer Huyghe makes smells so bad. pours semi murky yellow with almost no head. rancid apple aroma. taste sharp apples and alcohol with a caramel drawn out aftertaste.
