bierkoning (13689) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2006
Blonde, hazy. "Eiwittroebeling". Citrus and hints of talcum powder in the aroma. Surprisingly hoppy, flowery flavor with hints of citrus and toffee. Thinnish. Dusty mouthfeel. bhops (433) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 13, 2008
On tap at delirium in brussels. I ordered this for my wife because she likes non-descript beers, and sure enough, she loved it! actually not a bad pale lager with and interesting finish... but maybe she spilled some celery salt in it, because it definitely has a hint of it. jaghana (6283) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - OCT 17, 2012
Bottle 33cl. Nose is on dry grain and bottom yeast like. Aroma is on dry grain, metallic and with light apple touch, low hopy, low bitterness, very basic lager. PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 16, 2013
TAP at Delirium Brussels, shared with Mathieu87.
APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head.
NOSE: metallic, grains, little herbs.
TASTE: metallic, pilsener, grains, faint hops.
Not completely bad for a pilsener! Benzai (16690) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 30, 2014
Bottle @ home. Clear yellow golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste are exactly as to be expected: malts, a hint of sweet malts or corn, lightly grains, lightly bitter finish. Average body, medium carbonation. Typical, decent no flaws but unexiting pale lager.
Alusmamuts (2137) - LATVIA - MAR 13, 2015
Golden with small white head. Malty aroma. Typical lager, watery, malty with some sourness. Syfher (494) - Brussels, BELGIUM - APR 11, 2016
25cl, on tap.
Usual pils, nothing more to say. Clear blond colour, not a great aroma, nor taste. highlandlad (1480) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2005
Humdrum lager from a real hit-and-miss Belgian brewer. Lager gold colour, with some sedimentation and a short head. The nose has some citric hops. The palate is thin and quenching. Some sweetness and then nutty bitterness in the finish. Passable lager but unremarkable. (Bottle) madquacker (1170) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - FEB 18, 2005
Labelling suggested this was a trappist beer but was more like a sweetish cornish malty lager brew of a sort difficult to categorise. Was bizarre. Very chewy and grainy and not watery. Plenty of floaters added to its strangeness. A beer from another dimension. Something different but not great. Not sure would buy another. ALLOVATE (3063) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 7, 2005
This seemed to be a watered down version of it’s big brother Campus. Tasted from the bottle and, not knowing what to expect, poured it into a stumpy tulip glass. Hazy yellow body with the most floaters I have ever seen suspended in the liquid like Sea monkeys, had the look of 100% orange and lemon juice. Pour head retention with only minimal lace. Spicy citric aroma with a little vanilla and candi. Fairly light on in the mouth in both flavour and body, and medium in carbonation, it was like the second runnings of a Belgian blonde wort. Aroma was the only thing giving it base as the citric, honey and vanilla flavours seemed far off in the background. Finishes off with a crisp forgettable swallow that left you wondering where the beer went. Not bad, not good.
