Hazy dark amber ale with a thick collapsing light moka head. Caramel malt in aroma with very light floral hops. Sweet malt taste, a bit too sweet and cloying, like unfermented wort, with strong diacetyl, and a lingering unpleasant faint hop juice. Medium bodied. Rather unbalanced and lacking something.

Bottle. Bit of a subpar amber - caramel and cereal grain notes, a touch metallic. Sweet without much bitterness. Meh.

ENG: 650ml bottle purchased in Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured to Teku glass. Amber, opalescent color with small, tan head. Aromas of wet cardboard and malty-soury. Very bad... Tastes sweety, caramelly and malty with some soury background, finish and aftertaste. Low body, medium carbonation. Overall poor / bad flavors...

PL: Butelka 650ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do Teku. Barwa bursztynowa, opalizująca, piana jasna, niewielka. Aromaty mokrego kartonu i kwaśno-słodowe. Bardzo kiepsko... W smaku słodkawe, karmelowe i słodowe z kwaśnym zakończeniem i posmakiem. Niskie odczucie w ustach, średnie nasycenie. Podsumowując bida z nędzą...

Pours a light amber. Aromas are light and bready, a bit of bubblegum. Flavours are sweet malts. A touch of earthy hops at the end. Really boring and uninspired.

650 ml bomber bottle from Sobeys Liquor, served in a tall, stemmed goblet. Pours a striking bright, clear orange-amber, faintly carbonated, with a milky head with pearly bubbles in the middle that leaves plenty of web lacing. Aroma...for a brew that’s an admitted "anarchist", I respected it to come on as forcefully as the first riffs of "God Save the Queen", but it’s an orderly, highly restrained nose of toasted, sweet malt, with fruity hops clawing upwards and attempting to be noticed; the flavor holds clearly roasty grains and cocoa nibs at the fore, not all that sweet, and I think there’s black licorice/liquorice riding along. Black, yeah! Rebellious! Hints of spice, smoke, and red fruit as well. Not particularly solid-bodied; more like a wiry, skinny ’70s teen punk, as opposed to a burly, formidable Sons of Anarchy biker. Pleasant enough, and a good red ale, but anyone expecting the Sex Pistols in liquid form are gonna end up with a bottle of Green Day.

Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours copper with a medium frothy white head. Aroma is slightly metallic and earthy malts. Taste is earthy, slightly metallic and caramel malts. Earthy hop bitterness finish.

Bottle. I have never felt so let down by a beer before. With such a bad ass name and label, then what lies within is so conservative. It wasn’t bad, but it felt worse after looking at the label than tasting the beer. Just standard procedure here.

Picture yourself drinking a macro Pale Lager. Lame, right, I know. Now picture yourself drinking this beer with the Anarchy "A" on the side. Slightly better. Oh, in flavour too. It has some light citrus and pine hops, lemon and caramel and bread malts going on in the taste and smell department. Just don’t expect to drink this and change the modern governmental systems.

AgentAle (1783) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 24, 2014
Aroma is bland bitterness and dry malts. Taste gives a tarty basic bitterness that lingers longer than desired. Appearance is a light copper with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Basic Amber Ale. Pours amber, decent head. Smells of mild lemon fruit hop, wet socks and metallic carbon. Smells better than it sounds. Nice refreshing palate. Taste is grassy, raspberry candy and earthy. Not bad, but pretty average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
