Deep gold-orange colour, clear. Excellent looking creamy head that last throughout the glass, leaves good lace rings and other creamy, smeary lacing. Nose has a light hint of earthy malt, caramel, big orangey hops, some grapefruit and grass. Taste has deep caramel malt base, orange peels, slight grapefruit. Finishes with grapefruity bitterness and big grassy notes. Medium body, finely beaded carbonation. Liked this, but did not love it, still a decent IPA at a good price. Light smell of caramel and pine. Pours a cloudy copper with a white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lace. Taste is a big hop Bomb that goes away quickly. dfearnley (2143) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 25, 2012

Barnyard aroma with some caramel and hoppiness. Pale clear amber with a frothy off white head. A bit sweet throughout finishing with a mild bitterness (for an IPA). The mouthfeel is thin and watery with frothiness later on. Powertrip (1000) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 25, 2012
Single bottle purchased from Kensington Wine Market in Calgary, AB on 06/26/2012. Colour: A nice light copper with gold swirling. Head is medium height, white and slightly creamy. Nose: Light buttery caramel, hops that show fresh sharpened pencil and some dandelion. Distant cherry note. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium bitter, light sour. A stale gum resident throughout. Hops start to impart a nice bitterness but it fades through the finish....then comes back about a minute after drinking. Soft caramel. Not deep or complex by any stretch - but also unoffensive. patricks110 (2495) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 15, 2012
An okay beer overall. Pours out a bright golden with a orange tinge in the body and a thick foamy off white head. The nose has a nice hop, floral with a few spice hop notes and a hint of light malt. The flavor has a hint of sweetness and a bit of malt with a mostly boring hop taste and mild bitterness. Not overly impressive.

Bottle. Old fashioned computer label. Coppery amber with good sticky head. Quiet dry hop and caramel sweet scent. Woody light flavour. Not super hoppy but might go well in cans on the golf course. Tastes woody and dry hopped. Pretty decent staple but not out of the park. Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2012
Bright honey brown crystal clear with a 3" long lasting crown. Good looking beer. Haha reduced to a nipple cap. Very mild aroma, melon, pine, slightly bready. Aroma is so very soft. Taste is earthy with a good bitterness in the finish. Some sips are full of sour bread but others are full of pine and lemon. Highly drinkable but of low quality and very forgettable. Bottle, shared with Jeff. What a let down. I was excited to share this new IPA that I picked up from Trackside today-- so it HAD to be fresh right? This is prime drinking time for this little undiscovered gem! Yeah! Let’s get to it! Bronze-amber with a very lively head. Aroma is... well... it kind of reeks. Old dish rag and weak fruit. Flavours are muted earthy caramel and barely perceptible over-ripe tropical fruit with anemic bitterness in the finish. Unbearably thin. Jeff politely protested, saying "Hey, it’s not that bad". So I went down to my beer fridge and grabbed a Lagunitas Sucks Holiday IPA (which is at least 4 months past it’s prime time for drinking freshness) and poured it for him. The Lagunitas IPA mercilessly kicked the ever-loving shit out of this piece of crap. I’ve had home-brewed IPAs that tower over this. Drain-pour. Ya. Time to begin the weekend drunkfest. Pisser - ill just say amber. Amber with a good sized bubbly light tan head. Sweet caramel, fake peach, earthy stuff, warm grains. I’m drinking this ultra fast because I’m in drinking mode, yo. The taste is very similar and not gOing to bother type the same thing twice twice. The earthy side and rich tropical side don’t work well for me. Ok bitterness. Not a fan yet it’s super easy to drink. Lazy review from someone uninspired.
