650ml bottle. Pretty average nut brown. Deep red brown colour, clear, some foaming off white head. Nut and malt aromas. Taste is brown sugar, nuttiness and some mild earthy bitterness. Creamy body. It is what it claims to be, nothing less or more. Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - JUN 1, 2014
Naramiddle of the road Nut Brown. Nothing bad here, but far from being special. You expect more too with a medal hanging around its neck. I tastes of chocolatey malts and nuttiness, with some mild hop flavour in there. All of it is kind of lackluster though. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing to ruin your day. It’s....it’s....it’s.....fairly decent and shouldn’t really be complained about because, hey, you’re drinking a beer. You could be dead. Dark hazel with an off white number on the noggin. Roasty, nutty and chocolate malts paired with a resin and herb hopping. A wee bit of leather and dough in the flavour. It’s a nice brew you might share with a cute lady who has a medium bod and is fairly soft and isn’t disagreeable. AgentAle (1816) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 14, 2014
Aroma is a sweet maltiness with some roastiness. Taste is not terribly complex. Maltiness is pretty pale. The finishing roastiness is paired with a fairly basic hopiness. Appearance is a dark clear amber body with a lace head that retains very well. omhper (25800) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2013
Canned, thanks Erik! Clear mahogany colour, rich head. Floral nose with some chocolate. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Nutty caramel and chocolate. Mid bitter finish.

Tasty enough. Smooth nut brown, with some caramels and malts. Pretty regular in all areas but stronger than usual. Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 10, 2013
Pours a clear dark brown with a frothy long lasting off white head. Aroma of caramel, dark dried fruits, hazelnut and brown sugar. Taste is sweet brown sugar, caramel, nuts and a slight bitter cocoa on the finish. Overall a nice nutty brown ale but a touch too sweet. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 21, 2013
Pours a clear darker brown colour with sizeable initial off white head that partially dissolves to form a thick ring around the glass with a few spots. Aromas of sweet rich malt, nutty, caramel, toast and fruity esters. Flavour is burnt toast, nutty, brown sugar, roasted malts, sorta watery, mildly bitter dry finish from malts and hops. Bottle. Darkish brown beer with a very good creamy off white head. The aroma is roasted with some malty'ness, and the flavour is gently roasted and bitter with a creaminess to it. Overall a very nice mildly flavoured bitter and roasted beer.

Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours a dark brown/black with a small fizzy beige head. Aroma is hazelnut, brown sugar and sweet malts. Taste is very sweet, nutty and a little mocha.
