Can - a clear rich golden appearance with a slight orange hue along with a med off white head. Magnificent aroma of big fruity hops - peach, papaya, citrus and a hint of pine resin. Great layered flavor - big citrus, mild tropical notes, a hint of grass and pine. Good malt character as well.

Can hurriedly grabbed from Side Door Liquor after a big BBQ lunch at State Line. Gold-orange color with an off-white head that lasts and thick lacing. Huge aroma of dank hops and pink grapefruit you can smell across the room. Big flavor too with some earthiness and moderate bitterness from grapefruit pith. 100+ IBUs is believable but not overpowering. Pretty good for being big.

Had it during a visit to Albuquerque in September. Very noticeable caramel/malt sweetness with a bitter bite. Solid brew.

FlacoAlto (4240) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 12, 2015
Sampled August 2014
The beer pours from the growler with a frothy, pale tan colored head. The beer is a nice copper / pale-amber color that shows a brilliantly clear, paler version of the same when held up to the light. This has a nice, dank, herbal, and fruity hop character to it; herbal hemp, dank orange zest, earthy guava, peppery hemp, ample tobacco, all of which are hugely expressive, yet restrained enough to remain balanced for an amply hop focused beer.

Fruity, sweet hop notes come through much more in the flavor than the nose would have suggested; ripe tangelo zest, lychee, lingering guava notes, pine-leaning woody resin notes, a bit of earthy tobacco, bright spruce, spruce, woody menthol. A touch of caramelized malt character adds hints of English biscuit character, some dried hay character

This is a very tasty IPA, I really like how well balanced it is between the dank and fruity hop character; juicy, yet spicy, herbal, and dank, definitely dank leaning, and woody sap character.

(Crowler) clear medium gold, wispy white bubbles. Nose is very fresh citrus zest, dank, amarillo, candied fruit. Super fragrant. Taste is hoppy but really balanced. Candied citrus peel, orange pulp, touch of grapefruit, drinkable, medium body.

Sample at NIPAC IPA Challenge at OFW Brewing, Buffalo NY. Labeled Canteen Exodus IPA (Formerly Il Vicino). Possibly the best surprise of the day. Dank hops, big flavors, very impressive

Tap. The look is copper to caramel, clear, beige head. The smell is deep, grassy, dank, fruit, and pine. The taste is grass, hops, resin, pine, and fruit. Nice.

Samples from the tap at the Canteen. Pours a clea deep gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of deep grapefruit with a bit of citrus and pine underlying. Flavor has more grapefruit with a hint of onion and resin backing.
