Bottle to becher pint glass, the appearance was a copper color with a two finger foamy white head that fell off at a slow pace to leave some subtle lace.
The aroma had some pine and sweet onion up front and then just a touch of grapefruit rind bitterness. Ended with a little bit of sweet bread and caramel malt, and a little bit of earthiness.
The flavor was moderately sweet with an ample amount of bitterness trying to come in for balance. Actually did a decent job. Aftertaste was caramel malt and grapefruit bitterness. Crisp semi-sweet citrusy to piney sort of finish.
The palate was medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty good AIPA worthy of more pours. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 27, 2013

From the 650 ml. bottle. The pour is a bit darker than I anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. An amber-copper color with a long-lasting off-white head that stays around until the end. The aroma is of floral and piney hops with a more mellow, subtle malt character. But neither overpowers the other. The body is medium. The taste brings forward the hops, as it should for an IPA, but to the point of being pungent and overly bitter. I actually like the way this is put together. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - APR 17, 2013
Pours a medium copper color with a huge creamy off white head that slowly recedes to moderate stickage. Smells of grapefruit, pine resin, and dankness, with a hints of bread and caramel and a very light earthy yeasty funk. The flavor is resinous pine with bits of citrus fruit and covering a sweet brown sugary bready malt base.Light fruity esters, a touch of alcohol, and a hint of earth. Light hop bitterness lingers long after each sip. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. Nice serviceable IPA, nothing earth shattering, but nothing too scary either.
