My Bottom Line:hohops (998) - Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2014
This nitrogenated Stout has as much fruitiness going on as it has mild chocolate flavors.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam sticks to the darkness.
-Mouthfeel is excessively creamy. It’s one of those beers whose body relies nearly exclusively on the nitrogen.
-The finish is lightly acidic.
-This is somewhat of a Guinness copy.
-Even though this is heavy on the nitro presence, this made the body much more appreciable than their cask offerings’ that day.
On tap at the brewpub, as Nitro Stout.
Keg, as Canterbury Nitro Stout. Appearance is almost black, opaque, one finger creamy white head, looks really good. Aroma of dry roast, dark fruit, malts. Smooth in the mouth, roasted malt taste, short finish. Ok stout, doesn’t taste as good as it looks. mR_fr0g (12110) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2014
Keg at the brewery. As ’Nitro Stout’. Aroma is earthy berry, slight ashy roast and wood. Opaque black pour with a steadfast cream head. Flavour is slightly tart raspberry, choc roast, cranberry. Light acid on the tongue. Decent. Palate is medium bodied. Very smooth. fonefan (49341) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2014

Cask, both regular and nitro @ the foundry. Aroma is roasty malt, liquorice, molasses, caramel and light fruity notes. Flavour is dry, quite bitter, lighter roast then expected by colour and aroma, some liquorice, hops and ash. Nice. The nitro is a bit creamier and sweeter. +.1 for nitro suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Almost black pour. Small tan head. Some lacing. Chocolate aroma with some roasty notes. Taste is a creamy example of what was in the nose. A slight bitterness. Nice beer.
