4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy peach-y with a clean white head that wants out. Aroma is sourness, slight fruit (I wouldn’t say that it is apricots) and a general citrusy feeling. Swirling the glass easily revives a creamy head that leaves some nice lacings. Taste is medium sour with a refreshing acidity. Some apricot flavors do show up and even more as it warms up (HINT: drink it close to room temperature, my cold room is just too cold during the winter months and I started drinking at maybe 8-10C and it is just too cold). I swear that I get a nice apricot skin mouthfeel/flavors now and even some pits. A really fun fruit lambic, one that grows on you as you drink. I’m @ 4.1 right now but I might have to edit this rating before I reach the bottom of this bottle. Yum!
From a shared bottle at the brewery. Pours a hazy, dull gold color, with a small, bubbly head. Bright apricot aromas, with some leather, cardamom, flowers, and butterscotch. Sweet and fruity, with just a light tart flavor. Light body, acidic, crisp, and clean. This is a lovely lambic. Just enough fruit, without being overbearing. Delicious. beskid (254) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - OCT 13, 2017
2017 edition on tap at Mon Petit Cafe, Stuttgart. Aroma is light sour, barnyard, apricot, gooseberry. Taste is sour at first, then sweeter with every sip, apricots come out and balance greatly the rest. Some light herbal-woody notes in the end. Pours a hazy orange yellow color. Notes of apricots, champagne vinegar, faint funk, yarn, and something green. samsomuk (119) - Bridgwater, Somerset, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2017
Keg at Moor Beer Co, Bristol on Zwanze Day. Pours a hazy gold with slim white head. Aromas of funky farmhouse with plenty of apricot. On the taste it's tart yet incredibly fresh with gooseberry, lemon with more apricot. Light bodied, fine carbonation, dry & fruity finish. Presumably the 2017 batch, it was tasting great

Restrained stone fruit sour aroma in a hazy golden pour. Surprisingly sour given the massive apricot treatment (300g/l?) but subtle hints of rich fruit take the edge off in the end. explosivedog (1504) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 18, 2017
