The world's classic Gueuze. A blend of one, two, and three year-old lambics creates a second fermentation in the bottle. The champagne of Belgium. In contrast, the Lou Pepe Gueuze is a blend of three 2-year-old lambics.

Newer vintages are labeled "Organic Gueuze", "100% Lambic Bio" or "Classic Gueuze".

Clear golden with a white head. Fresh and sour aroma. The taste was sour, but not overdone.

2000th rating ! Bottle given as a birthday present big thx Alex for this. A: blue cheese, apple, light acetone, vinous, dusty App: clear copper with minimal white head. T/p: thin to med body with long acidic finish. Soft carbonation. O: Really nice. I didn’t drink this on optimal condition I’m tired as f... But still find enjoyment in this. The greatest of the brew all alone revive the urge to go visit the old continent more specifically Belgium.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2017 Bottle at hoppy loft. Yegllow colour small white lacing. Nose is medium stro acetic notes, light lactic acid. Taste is low bitterness. Acetic acid, light horseblanket, strog animal sour notes. Low carbonation. Strong, unripen grapfruit notes. Nice geuze but expected more from my first cantillion.

PowY (697) - AUSTRIA - JUN 8, 2017
375 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with an off-white, quickly disappearing head. The aroma is medium yeasty, leather, cheese, sour apples, lightly musty. Light to medium body with a medium carbonation, a medium sourness and a light bitterness. The flavor is full of fruity acidity, lemon, kiwi, unripe plums followed by tart berries and some cellary impressions, light peppery in the finish. Rather complex taste. Ends with a dry astringent finish.

murran (638) - - JUN 5, 2017
Pours a clear golden body with almost no head. Funky aroma with a sour feel. Taste is well balanced sour with a nice fruityness.

ArtificialCyst (1140) - Szczecin, POLAND - JUN 1, 2017

19Michi38 (186) - Cracow, POLAND - MAY 29, 2017
Pomarańczowe, mętne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana biała, drobna, obfita, zostaje na tafli, lacingu brak. W aromacie stajnia, trochę jabłek, agrestu, trochę kwiatowo. W smaku bardzo intensywne cytrusy, agrest, jabłko, taniny, dzikusy. Wysycenie niskie, goryczka niska, posmak dziki, cytrusowy.

MartyW (270) - DENMARK - MAY 26, 2017
Had both tap and bottles of different vintages. I prefer bottles. Aroma has horse blanket, funky, acidic, lemon. Flavour is heavenly, with funky notes, acidic dryness, moderate sour, lovely roasted barley taste. Aftertaste is so crisp, tart and sour. Amazing.

Pilsnertest (293) - SWEDEN - MAY 26, 2017
On tap at Akkurat. Taste of fresh juicy green apples, yeast and lemon zest. Hay and white bread.

MasDen (365) - Mogilev, BELARUS - MAY 9, 2017
Aroma: green apple, sour, barnyard. Appearance: light amber without head. Taste: sour moving to sweetness, green apple, fruits, light nice bitterness in the finish. Palate: light body, light carbonation, dry finish.
