I generally dislike still alcoholic beverages. This is no exception, with a completely flat mouthfeel that lets the vinegary character of the lambic come through a bit too much. Another Cantillon I could take or leave.
F: medium size, big bubbles, quick diminishing.
C: amber, bit hazy.
A: fruity, red currants, caramel, almost toffee, bit honey, woody, leather.
T: fruity, woody, bit herbal, brett, bit cheesy, lemon, dry tarty, not very sour, funky, complex, medium to full body, low carbonation, very tasty, fully enjoyed, sample from tap, vintage 2013 @ Pré Zwanze Day at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels.

Bottled. Pours hazy deep golden with a tiny white head. Aroma of lemon, wood, barnyard and other funky notes. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up being dry and tart. Light to medium bodied, watery to oily texture and flat to soft carbonation. A very nice Lambic indeed. Erzengel (9751) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2017

Aromas tart of earth, leaves, garden branch
Taste has funky notes of earth, over ripe fruits, mold leaves, garden branch, teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - NOV 8, 2016
75cl bottle at the brewery. It pours a clean rich golden orange color with a minimal bubbly white head. Aroma is tart and astringently acidic, with notes of lemon juice, dried leaves, grass, funky basement. Taste is also acidic and lemony, with more big funk notes. This is quite grassy and lightly metallic. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, interesting but not my cup of tea tomer (3845) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - OCT 30, 2016
Bottle at the brewery, clear deep oxidsed orange color, aroma of vanila, aged vinegar, dried apricots, white raisons and a hint of barnyard, amazing aroma, extremely mellow, flavor of vanila, spices and sour bread. Tasty, great to linger on and probably excellent with a meal. koleminer20 (4171) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 20, 2016
From notes. This was enjoyed at Jolly Pumpkin on October 1 for Zwanze Day 2016! The pour is surprisingly almost not carbonated. It’s a ruby-tinted orange without any head. The aroma is really funky and acidic. There is a wet wood and a funkiness happening that’s pretty strong. There is a sharpness to it and a lightly metallic bit on the back end. The flavor is much of the same. It’s harsh, acidic, funky, and carries a light metallic fruit to it. The mouth feel is thick and syrupy with a metallic flavor lingering on the palate. I’m not a fan of this one that much.
