4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fresh 750ml bottle, courtesy blazer06. This one pours a cloudy, golden orange color and topped by a small head of off white foam that slowly settles to a thin film and leaves a sudsy wash across the glass. The aroma is really nice showing a good amount of fresh peaches, apricots, and chardonnay grapes that add ample amount of citric acidity. The oak imparts notes of soured wood and vanilla to go with a big dose of floral hop bitterness in the back ground. The typical Cantillon funk is there, but the floral hop bitterness seems to overshadow it. The flavor follows suit and is initially oaky with vanilla up front and then followed by a huge dose of soured apricots and tart white grape skins. There is a good amount of vinous character from the grapes and oak and finishing with a good amount of bitterness from the dusty, floral hops. Really delicious stuff. The palate is quite substantial, which is a change from the typical Cantillon, and very dry and parching with tingling carbonation throughout. This is great tasting stuff, and I love the added hop component. This is a great brew and right up there with some of the other great Cantillon brews.
Bottlr frpm saveur bière. Honestly, it’s a good beer, but somehow i was expecting more from the brewery and the price Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUL 1, 2017
750ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Clear deep dark amber golden color. Huge size, thick beige head, stays. Sweet, malty, fruity, sour, caramel in aroma. Cherry stones, sour, fruity, raspberries in taste. So dry! I need a beer after every sip! So dry! Uhh not bad, but dry. Dry brew. czlowiekmotyka (314) - Warsaw, POLAND - JUN 10, 2017
Very nice and complex Lambic. Aroma is quite classic - stable like hell. But it is surprisingly bitter in the aftertaste and it is very pleasant. I like it. Dogbrick (13010) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2017
Sample at Lizardville Westerville during the Sour Beer Night event on 05/17/2017. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of funky citrus, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of pithy citrus, funky yeast, doughy malt and a touch of earthy hop. The finish is moderately tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Pretty good overall. MartyW (278) - DENMARK - MAY 26, 2017
Bottle. Aroma is less funky than regular geueze, fruity hops, pine needles, a tad flowery. Sweet malty flavour with a touch of hops and fruit notes. Good beer.

750ml bottle. 2016 vintage. (6.5% ABV) Pours a hazy orange with a medium, fizzy, short lived, off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Tart aroma of lemon rind, white wine, cider, horse blanket, flowers and oak with caramel malt lingering in the background. Tart flavour of lemon, lime, apricot, brett, white wine, apple cider, vinegar, oak and caramel malt with a dry, bitter, acidic finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Awesome, full of complexity. World class.
