4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured into a mini pint at TJ’s 7th anniversary party. A rare treat on-tap that can not be passed up.
A - Pours bright red with spotty head leaving no lacing at all. I think this was one from the bottom of the keg.
S - Plenty of sour notes up front. Hints of cherries, oak, and plenty of funk permeate everything. Fairly subtle but still very nice.
T - Strong tartness up front slowly giving way to some tart cherrie puree. Finish is strong tartness with plenty of strong cherrie notes. I really like this one a lot but it gets to be a bit overpowering after about half a glass.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Tart finish that fades quickly. Quite pleasant
D - Pretty good. I liked this one a lot. It was tart but still very complex. I have a bottle of this in the cellar, can’t wait to see what that does with some age on it.
37,5cl bottle at home. Appearance: clear red with pretty big, fast dissipating, pink head. Aroma: cherries, brett, pretty funky, some lemon juice and a trace of horse blanket. Taste: high sweetness, low bitterness and medium tartness. Notes of cherries, red fruits, brett, hint of strawberry. Finish is slightly dry. Palate: medium bodied, slightly sticky texture and lively carbonation. Balanced and enjoyable. Good one mansquito (7127) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JAN 1, 2018
From my dear officemate: pours pinkish red with a pinkish head. Aroma is sour cherries, wood, hints of vinegar. Taste is tart but not overly sour. Has an interesting dryness. Barrelish taste comes through. Nice aftertaste. Quite tasty. HonusWagner (2248) - Florida, USA - DEC 31, 2017
It's as really cherry forward lambic with lots of tart fruitiness and little funk. Very good, of course, much better than DF Kriek honestly. janubio (973) - SPAIN - DEC 11, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2017 Rose colour, big pinky head, short retention, pinky lace.

375ml bottle from January 2017, consumed today December 2017. Beautiful rich clear pinky red colour in the glass, light pink head with nice lacing and retained throughout, turned cloudy when the remainder of the bottle was poured in. Aroma is full on ripe sour cherries and funky notes. Taste of ripe cherries, sour, tart, but some sweetness too, pleasant and inoffensive farmhouse notes, moderate to high acidity, more tart cherries in the finish. Light bodied and well carbonated.
A sublime beer that has changed my opinion on fruit lambics and sours in general.

I got this bottle in a trade with joe1510. Thanks Joe!
My first sample from this brewery...
It pours from the capped and corked(2007) 12oz bottle a cloudy light red colour with a small head of foam that breaks up quickly to just some spotting with some lacing/
The smell is super sour at first..nothing else hits my nose but after a few more whiffs, I can smell some cherry presence. Good nose for me, yeah.
The taste starts off the same as the smell..sour to the nth degree, especially up front. More sips in and the cherries, be they black or be they red, add a bit of sweetness to take a small bite out of the tartness, and there's a underling earthiness dealt out by the malt and that works well for my palate. Very well. Towards the finish is where I mostly notice the fruit; not over powering like the Kriek from Lindemans, which I consider more of a fruit beer, but defintely there and adding just the right flavour to keep this Lambic more true to style.
I think it's still light bodied but very close to medium, the carbonation is lightly but rightly done, and, being a fan of brews that travel into the land of sour, drinkability for me is in the upper stratosphere. This is one tasty and fabulous brew! Thanks again, Joe!! piwnepodroze (541) - POLAND - DEC 7, 2017
Bricktop86 (934) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 3, 2017
Pours hazy red with a fizzy pink head. Aroma of sour cherries, red currant, cinnamon and leather. Taste is medium sweet and heavy sour. GTAEgeek (2495) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 13, 2017
375 mL bottle, opened at Logan's. Pours a hazy, bright red color, with a small, pink head. Tart cherries dominate, with some vanilla, cloves, and yogurt. Not too sweet, with a smooth tart flavor. Light body, with a smooth, acidic mouthfeel. Simple, smooth, and wonderfully fruity. klakier (15) - Deurne (Antwerpen), BELGIUM - NOV 11, 2017
