Poured into a mini pint at TJs 7th anniversary party. A rare treat on-tap that can not be passed up. A - Pours bright red with spotty head leaving no lacing at all. I think this was one from the bottom of the keg. S - Plenty of sour notes up front. Hints of cherries, oak, and plenty of funk permeate everything. Fairly subtle but still very nice. T - Strong tartness up front slowly giving way to some tart cherrie puree. Finish is strong tartness with plenty of strong cherrie notes. I really like this one a lot but it gets to be a bit overpowering after about half a glass. M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Tart finish that fades quickly. Quite pleasant D - Pretty good. I liked this one a lot. It was tart but still very complex. I have a bottle of this in the cellar, cant wait to see what that does with some age on it.

Bottled 19.06.2014. Pours bright red, hazy, with pinkish head. Aromas of sour cherries and notes typical for lambic. Sour, dry, with well marked character of cherries and nice almond-like aftertaste from stones. Lively carbonated. Among my favorite beers.

Heerlijk. Zuur, heel veel kriek, maar op een heerlijk scherpe manier. (geen cuberdon, geen zoet). Zeer wrang.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy red color. Pinkish white head disappates quickly. Intensely sour cherry aroma. Wow! Can you say, SOUR?! Incredibly sour cherry flavor with hints of grape and apricot. Long sour fruit finish and aftertaste.

Juks (280) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 13, 2017
UPDATED: APR 23, 2017 375ml bottle (bottled 14. december 2016). Pours clear red, pink fluffy head stays. Tart, woody cherry, barberry, very juicy aroma. Barberry, mild cherry, redcurrant in taste. Woody, sour. Tannin cherry stone aftertaste. Medium bodied, over average carbo. Very juicy and nice, not so acid as expected from lambics. (7,4,7,4,16-3.8) Rerate - tap at BrewDog Tallinn (kegged feb 2017). More fresh and juicier from tap. Less tannins. Very interesting!
