CBF07 sample from bottle at the RB table. Pours hazy pink with a white lacing. Aroma is sour and fruity. Flavour is very bitter and dry. Finish is dry berries. Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2003
The aroma is sharp and slightly sweet - from the wild fermentation. The color is a lovely deep red and it has a small but disappearing head. The flavor is very nice, round and at the same time sharp and very dry with some vinegar notes in the end. A very nice kriek. joergen (28102) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2006

Bottled. Hazy red colour, small bubbly white head. Bitterish cherry aroma. Bitter dry cherry flavour. Coarse feeling in throat while drinking this one. Nice one! omhper (25095) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 17, 2002
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2004 Brownish red. Very acidic nose. Some hints of cherry, some oak character, but mainly just tart and acidic. I really want to love this very authentic kriek, but it’s dryness is a step too far for me.Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2005
Rating for Cantillon De Dolle Proevers Kersengueuze 1991 (04-11-19):
Hazy brownish red. Acidic sweet cherry aroma. Typical Cantillon acidity with a twist of lemon. Sparkling, light mouthfeel. Vague toffeeish hint of oxidation. Good, but not stellar. (8/4/8/4/14)
UPDATED: FEB 27, 2006 (Bottle 37,5 cl) Beautiful, pale pinkish colour with a small, pinkish head. Pronounced cherry flavours, but they’re completely drowned by the extreme, vinegary sourness. Dry and quenching - but an extreme Kriek indeed. 100897 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2010
7th March 2010. Clear red beer. Obvious cherry nose. Light dry palate which is semi crisp. Light dry cherry with a bare whisper of coconut. Finshes dry and fruity. Travlr (24665) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 28, 2008
Cloudy ruby red. Scant pinkish head. Aroma of sour cherries and lemon. Sour cherry taste with musty dryness. Ages extremely well. A classic kriek, in a league of its own.
