markextrae (4424) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2017
Backlog, sample from bottle at moeder lambic. Poured deep purple in colour with a light pink head. Nose of vineous red grape notes, citrus, funk, wet cellar notes, almost acid tartness like, oak and light yeast. Taste of tart vineous notes, sour citrus, big intense sour burn. To much. Expected much more

3.3
Klimaet (2662) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - APR 17, 2017
Pours hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aromas of vinegar, lots of citric and lemony notes, tannic grapes, urinal, black currants. Taste is vinegary, some bitter grape skin like notes, sweet red vinous notes, heavy tannic, overpowering lingering sour finish.

3.3
PhillyCraft (7345) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2017
Bottle shared with Simz at the OG moeder, pours a hazy red with medium white head and not much lace. Nose is acidic fruit, cherries, cab franc grapes, red vinegar. Flavor is pretty darn sour with some fruit skins, light nail polish, lemon, sweetness. I don’t know, this one seemed underwhelming. Finish is light tomato acid and some geuze. Light to medium body. Overly Sharp and acidic ...lacking in depth/balance

3.2
Brightnessinaarhus (27) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - APR 13, 2017
Bottle at Moeder Lambic St Gil. Pours red/brown with minimal carbonation. Nice winey aromas. Taste of ripe grapes and grapefruit with a phenolic character. Extremely sour, unbalanced, and the finish was sour to the point where your throat hurts.

hackobock (4045) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 29, 2017
March 18, 2017. Bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas.
Light hazy reddish purple with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, funky and vinous with jammy mushed grapes, grape skins, red berries, a touch of lemon and vinegar, some oak and barnyard. Taste is sour, fruity and funky. Light to medium bodied, dry, slight astringent mouthfeel. Finish is dry, fruity and funky with some grape pith astringency, light juicy grapes, sour lemon and berries and some barnyard notes.
Good, but a bit too dry and too much astringency.

Iznogud (3895) - CROATIA - MAR 26, 2017
Bottle, 750 ml at Moeder Lambic Original. Shared with Travlr and Hoon. Pours pinkish red with white head. Fruity, berries, grapes, quite sour, wood, funky. Dry finish.

manker (76) - SWEDEN - MAR 23, 2017
Bottle. Light jammy strawberry color. Heavy grape arome, probably the most grape forward grape lambic from Cantillon. Peppery, tart red berries, dark cherry’ish notes. Musty grapes. Beautiful funk to grape. Mouthfeel is heavy with a lingering bitter tannin tartness. Really growing on me.

Travlr (25185) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 1, 2017
Bottle at Moeder Lambic with Iznogud kraddel and Hoon. Beautiful purple color with pink ice cream cone head that sadly settles quickly. Dusty berry aroma. Taste is softly sour funky raspberry, tart finish. Tasty.

SinH4 (4935) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - FEB 5, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2017 Bottle shared at Moeder Original. Hazy red color with small white head. Aroma is grapes, peppery, quite aggressive and fresh barnyard, touch of acetone even, blood orange as well. Taste is grapes, a bit peppery, blood orange, barnyard, with quite an acidic finish, citric acid as well. High but medium-bubble-sized carbonation. Good, but Tilquin Pinot Noir was much better.

sir__v (2629) - FRANCE - DEC 24, 2016
Bottle shared @ Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels - BE. Color: clear golden copper blond beer with no carbonation and no foam. Smell: candied notes, sourness, dry fruity notes. Very well balanced. Taste: light body with fruity and candied notes, tart, good attenuation and quiet drinkable. Astringent finish. Superb beer. Aftertaste: astringent, and dry fruity finish. Tart. Really great!
