1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
The worst beer I tried at Festival 2013, the low carbonation, heavy alcohol presence, weird sweetness, and barely apparent lambic quality made me really hate this beer. Ugh, why Jean why?!?
Tap. Hazy hazel, no head, no lacing. Aroma is bourbon, vinous, funk, apple. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, light tart. Medium body, low carbonation

Bottle at the brewery. Amber colour no head. Nose is cognac, wood. Taste is also wood, conacy notes. Loong sour woody finish. Almost no carbonation. Very nice and complex. ciocanelu (2536) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - JUN 14, 2017
Hazy amber brownish color with some big bubbles. Really pungent old wood barrel on the aroma, dusty and musty. Taste follows with the dusty wood and earthy bitterness. A bit of acidity but it’s more astringent, not sour. Flat, medium body. dimeon (319) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 25, 2017
A: Amber with no head
N: Plenty of funk and an acidic sting in the nostrils
T: Funkiness dominates, with the acidity far in the background. Hints of rotting fruit. Some tannins.
P: Medium to full
O: Needs some more time in the barrel rayaron (1840) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - MAY 15, 2017

Bottle - Dark woody barrel notes. Cloudy copper with no head. Sour caramel and acidity with a raw woody acidic finish. anstei (2254) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - APR 20, 2017
Bottle pour at the brewery. Pours cloudy darkish amber, no head. Aroma is slightly funky, but clearly a lot stronger in ABV than other Lambic. More malt, little booze. Body is heavy and strongly bitter, only a little sour, but no carbonation or tartness. Some fruity sweetness makes it, but is mostly drenched in bitterness. Short palate, a bit of booze. Not a beauty. JStax (6508) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 13, 2017
Bottle pour at the source. The beer is a clear copper with a white head of foam. The aroma has dry, earthy, grainy notes. Taste is sweet at first, then develops a slight tartness toward the finish. Big body and medium carbonation. Iznogud (3808) - CROATIA - MAR 20, 2017
Bottle pour at the Brewery. Pours hazy depp orange, small off-white head. Malty, sweetish, wood, dried fruit, some funk. Sour, tart. Strong wood, vinegar, even some cognac notes in aftertaste, maybe a bit throat burning. Definitely not easy to drink, but very interesting brew.
