Fresh sour cherries (krieken) in two year old Lambiek. We use approximately 300 gr cherries for 1 liter Kriek. The second fermentation in the bottle is obtained through addition of a liqueur, made with beer and saccharose.

750ml bottle shared at epic Cantillon tasting. Aroma: intense cherry, light vinegar, light cinnamon, quite funky, horse blanket. App: dark red purple-ish, small pink head leaving great lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, lots of cherries, moderate acidity finish. Overall: pretty good. Acidity is over the top but it's surprisingly not that hard to drink. And the look of this one is really great!

A wonderful fruity lambic. Lots of cherries and stone fruit in taste and aroma. Sourness is high as usual with some acetic acid

2014 vintage at the brewery. Beautiful ruby color with pinkish head. Aroma has intense dark cherries, pulpy, ripe and juicy. Also cherry preserve, pits, almonds and clean farmhouse funk. Taste follows, really juicy and fruity. Easy drinking, just the right amount of funk and the perfect sweet/sour combination. Probably the best Cantillon beer I had so far.
