Bottle at the brewery. Pours golden yellow colour with moderate white head, which disappears quite quicky. Pickles, black pepper, spicy notes, hints of sulfur, slight sourness in the aroma. Black pepper, pickles and sourness at first. Sourness and pepper in the middle. Slight acidity and black pepper in the end. Bottle shared at the source. Pours light hazy orange, not much carbonation there. Nose is soft, lightly acidic, some fruitiness and fragrant funk overall. Taste brings out lots of elderflower, really liking its soft velvety touch. Light herbal character giving way to slightly bitter and tannin-filled finish. Moderate amount of carbonation. Hazy golden in colour. Aroma is definitely elderflower - for those who know it, you will recognise it straight away - but could easily be mistaken for just being lemony or funky. Taste again is elderflower, mango, lemon and sourdough. Sourness is probably on a medium level. Very well balanced beer in general. A joy to drink. Spectacular really. Elegant and in a class of its own. Ive had a few sours lately which are just amateurish in comparison. This is how its done. Cannot be improved upon in my book.
Pour at 6 degrees north, nose us mandarin, elderflower, Brett. Palate is nice mandarin, orange, apricot, citrus. Very tasty.

Aroma has elderflower, very floral, grapefruit, sour.
Taste is lots of elderflower, lemons, grapefruit, very dry and sour finish.
Bottle, at the brewery. 2017. Pale orange. Light haze. Slim ring of white head. Nose has recognisable, cheesy, woody funk. Notes of elderflower. Baked apple. Squidgy pear. Very fruity, with maybe some light hop character. Taste is floral, and herbal sweet, turning dry, and light sour. Light body. Dry and cleansing. Woody, herbal, floral finish. 750 ml bottle, bottled 14.6.2016, shared by Werckmeister, many thanks. Pours a hazy, dark golden with a white head. Mild aroma with some sour berries, some funk, blossom, very lightly cellary and very lightly cheese, fermented fruits. Light to medium body with a medium carbonation, a light sourness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor starts with some citric acidity, lots of tart berries, unripe gooseberries, white grapes, quince, pomelo. Towards the finish there are tart elderflowers, light woody, some cheese. Overall very balanced, finishes dry and slightly astringent.
