Bottle @ pikkulintu. Finally got to try this!
Pours golden color with a lasting white head.
Green, crisp apples, tartness. Amazing aroma.
Flavor has green apples, tartness, apple seed, and in the finish you get more fresh apple juice notes. Huge beer, still in excellent condition. GrumpyOldTroll (61) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Light yellow color with a small head. Faint lemon with some mustiness on the nose. Taste is nice, moderately tart and a pleasure to drink. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 4, 2016
375 ml bottle at Pikkulintu in early August, big thanks to Timo for seemingly making an exception and letting me purchase this to share with my lady! 2006 cork. Hazy peach pour, minimal head that livens nicely with a stir. Nose and flavor hold stunning, vibrant hay, barnyard, bright acidic lemon, unripe nectarine; really outstandingly bright for 9 years old. So clean, with age seemingly softening the acidic bite into a ridiculously approachable and yet insanely complex gueuze. Must and basement funk provide even more depth as the beer warms. Outstanding. manker (75) - SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2014
Two bottles @ Pikkulintu. Very similar to Cantillon saint gill (for obvious reasons..) but has aged wonderful. Fruit and berry tones have developed and the dusty farmhouse brett gives a nice extra touch.

Lucky to try two bottles, side by side, 9/13 at Pikkulintu in Helsinki with Fredrik, Magnus and Ludvig. Reminiscent of other hop cuvees, this half bottle was a star example of how harmoniously hops can integrate with lambic over time. 2006 cork date would seem to indicate things may have faded a bit, but there’s certainly still plenty of hop aromas and taste left. I felt it all, the familiar delicious cantillon lambic, a beautiful, if slightly faded hallertau essence.. Huge bonus points for moderate acidity and funk. Very balanced and hardly any bottle variation on the side by side tasting. A real treat! fredrik_ (102) - SWEDEN - SEP 4, 2013
Thanks to Marko at Pikkulintu for not giving us one but two of this badboy.
Great beer aged beautifully. Amazing to get to try this one. Ludvig (134) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2013
