[email protected], Helsinki. Hazy orangeish golden colour, no head. Aroma is tart and sour wooden notes along with some slight acidic and grassy notes. Flavour is quite much the same, but is also leaning towards more floral and grassy notes than the aroma was showing. Mellows out with aging, compared to when I had it fresh.

Bottle at the pub. Hazy golden color, huge fluffy white head. Aroma of extreme dust, attic and lemon rind. Taste is wet blanket. Pretty simle, but nice enough.

37.5 cl bottle at Pikkulintu, on July 22, 2011
Blue Label
Clear pale golden color, white head. Acidic, sour, apple, stable scent. Sour, oh so sour taste, like red currants when green and unripe. Mouthpuckering sour mouthfeel. Loads of hawthorne, no bitterness.

gyllenbock (10033) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 20, 2011
Bottle at Pikkulintu in July 2011. Hazy golden with a minimal head. Typical tart aroma of Cantillon. Very nice and tart taste but also refreshing with green apples, hay and wood. 10 EUR for a bottle of 37,5 cl is a very good price.

Bottle @ pikkulintu. Finally got to try this! Pours golden color with a lasting white head. Green, crisp apples, tartness. Amazing aroma. Flavor has green apples, tartness, apple seed, and in the finish you get more fresh apple juice notes. Huge beer, still in excellent condition.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2012 375ml bottle @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki

Pours orange with a small foamy head. Aroma has notes of fruits, spices and slightly hops. Nice, fruity, smooth and not as sour as many other gueuzes. Slightly bitter and hoppy finish. Well balanced, great lambic.

Re-rated on 23.11.2012 @ Pikkulintu. 2006 vintage. This bottle has some mild farmyard notes, which fit in quite nicely with the slight funky tartness. Nice smooth and tart palate. Still as good as before.
